GameDays Data Deletion Policy

At GameDays, we believe you should have full control over your data. If you wish to have your data deleted from our servers, you have a few options to accomplish this.

How to Delete Your Data In-App (Recommended)

You can delete all of your remote data directly within the GameDays app at any time without deleting your entire account:

  1. Open the GameDays app and ensure you are signed in.

  2. Navigate to the Settings screen.

  3. Tap the Unlock Database button.

  4. Tap Clear Remote Data.

  5. Confirm the action in the popup. Note: This will instantly and permanently wipe all your Game Records, Tasks, Notes, and custom preferences from our servers, while keeping your account active.

How to Delete Your Entire Account

If you want to completely remove your account and all associated data simultaneously:

  1. Open the GameDays app and go to the Settings screen.

  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.

  3. Confirm the action. Note: This is irreversible and deletes everything associated with your GameDays identity.

How to Request Data Deletion via Web/Email

If you do not have the app installed or cannot sign in, you can manually request data deletion:

  1. Send an email to 808amh@gmail.com.

  2. Use the subject line: GameDays Data Deletion Request.

  3. Important: You must send the email from the exact email address associated with your GameDays account so we can verify your identity.

  4. Let us know if you want to wipe just your data, or delete your entire account.

  5. Your request will be processed manually within [e.g., 3-5 business days].

What Data is Deleted?

When a data deletion request is processed, the following is permanently removed from our databases:

  • All synced Game Records, Tasks, and Notes.

  • Custom Genres, Platforms, and DLC items.

  • Associated Discord link information (if applicable).

  • If an account deletion is requested, your login credentials and profile are also deleted.

What Data is Retained?

  • No personal or identifying data is retained after a deletion request is completed.

  • Local Data: If you have offline data stored on your device, it remains on your device until you manually clear it or uninstall the app. GameDays does not have remote access to delete local device storage.
